Who inspired your vocation: Originally, it was my pastor, Redemptorist Father Charles Brinkmann.

What do you do for stress relief: I try to play rugby.

The last movie/book you saw/read: the movie Traffic and the book The Name of the Rose by Umberto Eco

Reactions from others on your entering the seminary: I’m a convert, so my family’s reaction was mostly shock, but most are curious and supportive.

What occupation would you have pursued, if not the priesthood: a pharmacist

What time period would you like to visit: Victorian England

If you were stuck in a bell tower, what 3 things would you want with you: wine, cheese and Rapunzel (for the long hair)

If you had three wishes, what would they be: unity of all christians, end of division within Catholic Church, that we (Christians) could be an example to the world of Christ’s love

What’s your biggest fear: being in a situation where I feel helpless

What did you want to be as a kid: a train engineer
