Life Chains to spread across South Carolina on Oct. 5

SOUTH CAROLINA — Each year, Life Chains bring pro-life Americans together for one hour to pray for an end to abortion.

A national, ecumenical, prayerful witness against abortion, Life Chains will occur throughout the nation, rain or shine, on Oct. 5 as part of Respect Life Month. Everyone is welcome.

The first chain was built in 1987 by Please Let Me Live, Inc., in Yuba City, Calif.

At each event, posters that state: “Adoption: The Loving Option,”  “Abortion Kills Children,” “Jesus Forgives and Heals,” “Abortion Hurts Women,” and “Lord, Forgive Us and Our Nation” are provided on arrival and  held up for passing motorists to see as witnesses pray.
