SPARTANBURG — Jesus, Our Risen Savior Church is celebrating its 30 year anniversary with events focused on the theme, “His Grace — Our Gratitude.”
Throughout the year parishioners are participating in activities such as an international festival, a youth talent show, mission week, and a fellowship wine and cheese party.
The Social Awareness Ministry collected baby items for the Carolina Pregnancy Center. One of the center’s new programs, “Earn While You Learn,” rewards students for staying in school, keeping doctor’s appointments, attending church, etc. They can earn “Mommy Money” and shop in the center store purchasing items donated by contributors.
Parishioners donated goods to the store in April. Rosemary McLeod, the social ministry director, and volunteers, collected the items and brought them to the center.
