Cregar, Clark win awards at annual Catholic Press Association convention

CHARLESTON — Terry Cregar, a regular freelance reporter for The Catholic Miscellany, won a second place honor during the Catholic Press Association’s annual awards presented May 29 in Anaheim, Calif.
Cregar won the award in the best sports news category for his article, “New coach builds character on the field, in the classroom” which was published Oct. 2, 2008.
Anne E. Clark, graphic designer for The Miscellany, received a third place award for best headline, “Smart Martha: How to do dishes and still have time for Jesus.” The article was published Feb. 21, 2008.
