Get-Stuffed French Toast
Serves eight to 10

16 ounces of challah or French bread, cubed
8 ounces of Havarti cheese, cut into thin slices
6 eggs
4 cups milk
1/2 cup sugar
1½ teaspoons ground cinnamon, divided
2 Tablespoons butter, melted
1/4 cup maple syrup
1½ cups fresh or frozen blueberries
12 ounces of blueberry preserves

Preheat oven to 350o F. Spray a 13×9 baking pan with cooking spray and arrange half of bread cubes on bottom. Top evenly with Havarti and top with remaining bread cubes. Whisk together eggs, milk, sugar, 1 teaspoon cinnamon, butter and maple syrup. Pour over bread mixture, pressing bread cubes to absorb liquid. Sprinkle remaining cinnamon over top. Cover baking pan with foil and bake for 30 minutes. Uncover and bake 30 minutes more or until lightly browned and set. Let stand five minutes. Stir together blueberries and blueberry preserves in a small saucepan over low heat until warm. Serve blueberry sauce over French toast.
