GREENVILLE—Mrs. Clark’s fifth grade class at Our Lady of the Rosary School celebrated the Gullah culture recently. One of the projects featured Gullah artist, Jonathan Green.
Joelle Saunders, Katie Hudak and Kayla Gustek wrote to him asking questions about some of his work. They were so excited to receive a package from him including a personal letter and photo, two DVDs, a poster of one of his prints, lesson plans, information on the two paintings featured and a scarf for the teacher.
The project is on display in the school office.
