Adrian Dominican Sister Patricia Eileen Consier dies
ADRIAN, Mich.—Adrian Dominican Sister Patricia Eileen Consier, a former teacher at St. Mary Help of Christians School in Aiken, S.C., died May 30. She was 77.
The funeral Mass was June 1 at the Dominican Life Center followed by burial in the congregation cemetery.
Sister Patricia Eileen was born in Chicago, a daughter of Albert and Mary Annette Loughlin Consier.
She was a graduate of Aquinas High School in Chicago and received a bachelor’s degree in piano from Barry College in Miami Shores, and master’s and doctorate degrees in music education from Florida State University in Tallahassee.
Sister Patricia Eileen spent 21 years working in education in Michigan, Florida, Georgia and South Carolina. She taught in Aiken from 1957 to 1961.
In the Diocese of St. Augustine, she was principal at Assumption Catholic School, and music consultant for the Liturgical Commission. She was music director for the Cathedral-Basilica of St. Augustine from 1979 to 2005.
Sister Patricia Eileen became a resident of the Dominican Life Center in Adrian in 2006.

Ursuline Sister Margaret Mary Schwartz dies at 94
LOUISVILLE, Ky.—Ursuline Sister Margaret Mary Schwartz died May 22. She was 94.
The funeral Mass was May 26 at the Ursuline Motherhouse chapel. Burial was in St. Michael Cemetery.
Sister Margaret Mary was born in Cincinnati, Ohio, and entered religious life with the Ursuline Sisters of Louisville in 1935.
She taught math and science to students in sixth through eighth grades at St. Joseph School in Columbia, S.C., from 1970 to 1972. She also taught at schools in North Platte and Omaha, Neb., and Louisville.
Sister Margaret Mary was an activities assistant and director of the crafts program at Marian Home in Louisville from 1981 to 1993, then the director of arts and crafts at the Ursuline Motherhouse from 1994 to 2005. Recently, she was the director of the Ursuline Sisters Craft Shop.
She is survived by her brother, Omer Schwartz, and her Ursuline family.
