Catholic Radio has new app

Catholic Radio in South Carolina has added an app so listeners can tune in on their smart phone, smart pad, or television.

To access the new app, iPhone and iPad users, can use Safari and type in www.catholicradioinsc.com/iphone to the browser. A player specifically for Apple products will come up. Press the play button and hear the local broadcast. You can even use Bluetooth Technology with your smart phone to listen in your car when you are out of our broadcast listening range. (Bluetooth® is a device that offers wireless control of and communication between a mobile phone and a Bluetooth compatible car stereo system.) Make sure to bookmark the page for future reference.

Use TuneIn Radio App for other mobile devices and special applications: Download this App free from your smart device’s marketplace or available apps section. It gives listeners more ways to hear our station. Whether it’s smartphones, cars, digital radios or smart TVs, TuneIn Radio allows you to listen to us for free. Just search local radio stations or type WCKI in the Apps search engine and their logo will pop up. Click on it and listen to the streaming audio.

TuneIn Radio is available on the following supported devices: iPhone, iPad, Android, Palm, BlackBerry, Samsung Bada, and the Windows Phone. It is also available on Google TV, Yahoo TV, Roku, and WDTV.

Catholic radio is constantly streamed online at www.catholicradioinsc.com and can be heard on the radio at WLTQ – 730 AM on the coast; WQIZ – 810 AM in the Lowcountry, and WCKI 1300 AM in the Upstate.
