COLUMBIA—The Cardinal Newman girls’ soccer team won their second consecutive state championship by beating Porter Gaud of Charleston 2-0. Team members are: Molly Rainwater, Maigan Nieri, Ashley Brown, Katherine Nahigian, Sarah Jackman, Tanner Cline, Meghan Gasser, Kelsey Leonard, Sophie Cobb, Pascale Rocca, Mary Katherine Hall, Lillie Powers, Ali Black, Lauren Deyling, Marie Jaramillo, Elizabeth Hayden, Catherine Onate, Emily Patten and Caroline Gasser.
