CHARLESTON—Bishop Robert E. Guglielmone made the following appointments for priests in the Diocese of Charleston.
Effective June 1:
- Father Mark Good, newly ordained, was assigned as parochial vicar to St. Andrew Church and School in Myrtle Beach.
Effective June 18:
- Father Oscar Borda Rojas,who was in the replacement ministry for the diocese, was assigned as administrator of St. Anthony Church in Ridgeland and St. Anthony Mission in Hardeeville with sacramental responsibilities at Ridgeland Correctional Institution.
- Father Jeffrey A. Kendall, pastor of St. Anthony Church and St. James the Greater Mission in Walterboro, was assigned additional responsibilities as the administrator of St. Mary Mission in Hampton.
- Father Jeremi Wodecki, administrator of Sacred Heart Church in Abbeville and Good Shepherd Mission in McCormick, received additional sacramental responsibilities at McCormick Correctional Institution.
Effective July 2:
- Father Marcian Thet Kyaw, administrator of St. Louis Church in Dillon and Church of the Infant Jesus Mission in Marion, was assigned as parochial vicar of Holy Trinity Church in Orangeburg, St. Mary Mission in Allendale, St. Andrew Church in Barnwell, and St. Theresa Mission in Springfield. He also has sacramental responsibilities for Allendale Correctional Institution.
- Father Robert E. Morey, JD, pastor of St. Anthony Church in Florence, received additional responsibilities as administrator of St. Louis Church in Dillon.
- Father Bernardino S. Yebra, moved from active duty in the U.S. Army Reserves to Vicar for Prison Ministry in the diocese.
- Father John M. Zimmerman, administrator of St. Anne in Florence, was additionally assigned as administrator of Church of the Infant Jesus Mission in Marion.
Effective July 5:
- Father Artur D. Przywara, parochial vicar of Holy Trinity Church in Orangeburg, St. Mary Mission in Allendale, St. Andrew Church in Barnwell, and St. Theresa Mission in Springfield, with sacramental responsibilities for Allendale Correctional Institution, was assigned as parochial vicar of St. Theresa the Little Flower Church in Summerville.
Effective July 7:
Father Joseph V. Romanoski, from the Diocese of Metuchen, N.J., was assigned as parochial vicar of St. Mary Magdalene Church in Simpsonville.
