Sister Pamela Smith chosen as the new principal of JPII school

CHARLESTON—Bishop Robert E. Guglielmone has appointed Sister Pamela Smith, SSCM, principal of John Paul II Catholic School in Bluffton as of Dec. 23.

Sister Pam will also continue to serve as the Diocese of Charleston’s secretary of education.

Chris Paul was the founding principal. In her new role, Sister Pam will be responsible for overseeing the school’s transition from its temporary location to its campus on North Okatie Highway in Bluffton.
