GREER—Knights of Columbus Council 9184 presented Birthright of Greenville with a check for $23,000 raised from their “Luck of the Irish” Casino Night fundraiser. Attendees enjoyed an evening of casino-style games, a silent auction, a spirited live auction, food and fun.
“It has truly been a privilege to work with Birthright,” said Greg Pirochta, event director. “It is such a worthy organization, reaching out and supporting women and babies in our community in such a personal and loving way. This event has really helped our council become more connected to their needs.”
Birthright of Greenville offers alternatives to abortion for women in crisis. The donation will help fund the group’s ongoing work.
