SENECA—St. Paul and St. Francis churches donated over $3,000 to Golden Corner Food Pantry from the Victory Garden on church grounds. Over two tons of vegetables were grown and parishioners “purchased” them with donations each weekend from June to November. Father Bill Hearne presented the check to pantry board members on Jan. 26. In 2016, parishioners sponsored over 300 senior or family households with supplemental food for a year. Dozens of parishioners also volunteer at the food pantry each week.
