MYRTLE BEACH—Each year during Catholic Schools Week, students, staff and parents from St. Andrew School take part in the Beach Walk. Participants strolled three miles to the beach and along the surf and raised $9,000 for Helping Hand and the Community Kitchen. Event organizers said the event is yet another example of “a life of service beyond self.”
