GREENVILLE—Rising ninth-graders Jessica Gerac and Sara Gushue were recently selected as the recipients of the St. Joseph’s Scholar Award. The annual scholarship is given to two incoming freshmen for academic excellence. Both are eighth-graders at St. Joseph’s Catholic School. Jessica is the daughter of Jeff and Samantha Gerac of Greenville and is a member of St. Mary Magdalene Church. Sara is the daughter of Ricardo and Ann Gushue of Simpsonville and is a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church.
