This is part of a series of daily devotionals for May, the month of Mary.
During Jesus’ infancy, Mary was in “constant contact with the ineffable mystery of God made man.” The Holy Virgin was able to approach God by becoming the first of those “little ones” of whom Jesus will say one day: “Father, … you have hidden these things from the wise and the learned, you have revealed them to the childlike” (Mt. 11:25). The Father chose Mary to reveal her Son, whom only the Father knows completely, because she believed and continues to believe in him regardless of all the trials and the adversities Christ had to overcome during his life on earth.
Offer Mary our ordinary work done well, on time, with competence and finesse.
