Five high schools in the Diocese of Charleston will hold commencement exercises for 2017, with John Paul II School in Ridgeland ushering its first class of graduates into the world. Two other schools are looking forward to their first graduations — St. Anne in Rock Hill in 2018 and St. Elizabeth Ann Seton in Myrtle Beach in 2020.
The graduation schedules are:
Cardinal Newman School in Columbia, May 20 at 4 p.m. at the Township Auditorium;
John Paul II School in Ridgeland, May 27 at 10 a.m. at the school;
St. Joseph’s Catholic School in Greenville, May 27 at 10 a.m. in the school gymnasium;
Bishop England High School in Charleston, June 3 at 10 a.m. at The Citadel’s McAlister Field House;
St. Francis Xavier High School in Sumter, June 3 at 7 p.m. at the Sumter Opera House.
