SUMMERVILLE—The results are in for the Diocese of Charleston Youth Volleyball Tournament held at Bethany Methodist recently, hosted by Summerville Catholic school and their athletic director, Jean Fox. A total of 16 teams competed from 12 schools: St. Andrew in Myrtle Beach, St. Anne in Rock Hill, Charleston Catholic, Blessed Sacrament and Nativity from Charleston, Divine Redeemer in Hanahan, St. Francis from Hilton Head, St. Gregory the Great from Bluffton, St. Michael from Murrells Inlet, St. Mary Help of Christians in Aiken, St. Mary of Greenville, and Summerville Catholic.
In the senior bracket, St. Francis won the gold and was named tournament champion (top photo), and St. Mary Help of Christians was runner-up. St. Mary of Greenville won the silver bracket, and Summerville Catholic took the bronze.
St. Francis also claimed the championship in the junior division, and St. Mary Help of Christians was runner-up.
