NORTH CHARLESTON—St. John received a helping hand recently from people at Convergint Technologies, who visited the school for a Community Outreach day. A team of over 30 people installed a new alarm system and are covering the first year’s cost. They also added four new security cameras, installed a fob system for front and back door school access, painted the art room, weeded and planted new flowers in the butterfly garden, added weed guard paper and mulch to the emoji sensory space, and installed a new countertop in the art room. Since then they have also reached out to donate a few large computer monitors and to see how everyone at the school is doing.
