ANDERSON—Mother Cabrini Fraternity of the Secular Franciscan Order announced the Profession of Deacon Salvatore Cancello, OFS, during a Mass on May 1, 2021, at St. Mary of the Angels Church.
Profession is a permanent commitment to follow the Rule of the Secular Franciscan Order, which was founded by St. Francis of Assisi more than 800 years ago.
Franciscan Father Robert Menard , spiritual assistant, Nanette Perron OFS, minister servant, and Charlie Comberrel OFS, formation director, presided over the profession.
