Atlanta Conference for Divine Mercy is set for Feb. 15

JONESBORO, Ga.—The Atlanta Conference for Divine Mercy will be Feb. 15 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. at St. Philip Benizi Church, 591 Flint River Road in Jonesboro, Ga.

The theme is “It is the Lord!” The conference will be a day of intense learning and resources for clergy and lay leaders, according to a press release.

Participants will receive the latest information, resources, and strategies on how to celebrate the Divine Mercy Sunday feast.

The speakers include:

Father Seraphim Michalenko of the Marians of the Immaculate Conception, director emeritus of the John Paul II Institute of Divine Mercy and the current director of the Marian Helpers in Stockbridge, Mass., at the National Shrine of Divine Mercy.

Father Pablo Straub, Congregation of the Most Holy Redeemer, who directs missions and priest retreats. He founded The Consecrates of the Most Holy Savior.

Marty Rotella, a singer, songwriter, speaker, producer, and evangelist, who has won several music awards for his inspirational songs.

Robert Allard, a returning Catholic who started the Apostles of Divine Mercy and the www.divinemercysunday.com Web site.

Registration is $50 and must be paid before Feb. 12. Clergy may attend free but need to preregister. Special hotel accommodations for the conference are available at the Hampton Inn Southlake at a rate of $79 per night with a complimentary breakfast.
