CHARLESTON—Msgr. John A. Simonin, retired pastor of St. Mary of the Annunciation Church, died July 15. He was 88.
A vigil service will be held July 18, at 7 p.m. at the Cathedral of St. John the Baptist, 120 Broad St. in Charleston. The family will receive friends at the Cathedral after the vigil service until 8:30 p.m.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be July 19 at 10:30 a.m. also at the Cathedral. Bishop Robert E. Guglielmone will preside.
Burial will be at Holy Cross Cemetery on James Island
