Christmas tree sale
MOUNT PLEASANT—Christ Our King-Stella Maris School’s HSA will hold its annual Christmas tree sale from Nov. 23 to Dec. 11, or until they are sold out, at 1183 Russell Drive. Light Up for Christ
LAKE WYLIE—Knights of Columbus Council 14475 will sponsor “Light Up for Christ” to celebrate the beginning of the Advent and Christmas season on Dec. 4 at 7 p.m. at All Saints Church, 530 Highway 274 and Pole Branch Road. Father Dwight Longenecker will speak on why he converted to Catholicism.

Widows/widowers Mass
EASLEY—St. Luke Church hosted its annual Widows and Widowers Mass and Celebration on Nov. 9. Organizers reported that the 13 participants marked married lives that lasted a total of 549 years, and tallied 53 children, 107 grandchildren, 72 and two-thirds great-grandchildren (one due in February), and seven great-great-grandchildren.

Lay Dominicans
GREENVILLE—The St. Thomas Aquinas Chapter of the Southern Lay Dominican Chapter celebrated their first Rite of Temporary Profession on Sept. 23 including: Kristen Nietopski, John and Jamie Kolasinski, Joe Beauchemin, Laura Taylor, Alycia Nielsen, and Timothy Nielsen.
