AIKEN—St. Clare of Assisi Secular Franciscan Fraternity hosted its 10th annual Clergy Appreciation Dinner Oct. 6 at St. Mary Help of Christians Church.
Two hundred people celebrated Fathers Gregory Wilson, Art Dalu-pang, Hugo Ruiz, Jeffrey Kirby and Ernie Hepner (pictured with John Shea); and Deacons Bob Pierce and Pat Mongan.
Val Cadarr spoke about how great their clergy are in living out their theme, “Shaping Hearts and Changing Lives.”
Donna Pierce said it was heart-warming that so many people showed gratitude for the clergy.
