TAYLORS—Prince of Peace School was recently named a 2014 Blue Ribbon School of excellence by U.S. Secretary of Education Arne Duncan. It is one of six schools in South Carolina, and one of 50 private schools in the nation to receive the honor. Michael Pennell, principal, will receive the award Nov. 10-11 in Washington, D.C.
