High school students prepare for graduations

High schools in the Diocese of Charleston are busily planning final celebrations for their seniors. Here is a list of Baccalaureate Masses and graduations, which Bishop Robert E. Guglielmone will attend:

Cardinal Newman School, Columbia — The Baccalaureate Mass will be May 22 at 6 p.m. at St. Joseph Church. The commencement will be May 23 at 4 p.m. at Township Auditorium.

St. Joseph’s Catholic School, Greenville — The Baccalaureate Mass is set for May 29 at 6 p.m. The commencement is May 30 at 10 a.m. Both events will be held on the school campus.

St. Francis Xavier High School, Sumter — The Baccalaureate Mass will be May 29 at 7 p.m. at St. Anne Church. Commencement will be May 30 at 7 p.m. in the Sumter Opera House.

Bishop England High School, Charleston — The Baccalaureate Mass is May 31 at 3 p.m. at the Cathedral of St. John the Baptist. Commencement will be June 5 at 10 a.m. at The Citadel’s McAlister Field House.

John Paul II Catholic School, Ridgeland — The newest secondary school currently has grades seventh through 10th. Their first graduating class will be in 2017.
