MOUNT PLEASANT—Christ Our King Church’s middle school faith formation class participated in a special session that focused on the families in France who are suffering after the recent terrorist attacks.
The students offered prayers of petition and made cards for the people in France letting them know they cared.
Some cards were written in French and the messages offered sentiments such as: “God will protect you. We will pray for you guys. We must move on from this bad sin.” “In Him, there is NO darkness.” “We hope you and all your friends stay safe and this will never happen again.”
Deacon André Guillet offered to mail the written prayers to a parish in Paris via his family and friends, and will include a rosary made by Christ Our King.
