COLUMBIA—Kashinda House Covington, a member of St. Martin de Porres Church, was honored recently for her service and dedication to her church and community.
The honor was presented to Covington and 19 other women by members of Church Women United of Columbia at their annual luncheon on April 16.
Covington is a board member of St. Martin de Porres School, where her daughters attend.
She is also an assistant with the CCD program at church, helps with various programs there, serves as a lector and trained to be an extraordinary minister of Holy Communion.
She is the daughter of Frankey and Charlotte House, and helps her parents with the care of a brother. She and her husband Dante Covington are the parents of Danika and Fallon.
