Appointments made for seven priests

CHARLESTON—Bishop Robert E. Gugliel­mone made appointments for seven priests in the Diocese of Charleston, effective Aug. 8:

Msgr. Chester M. Moczydlowski was placed on medical leave as pastor of St. John the Beloved in Summer­ville.

Father Robert A. Spencer was ap­pointed administrator pro-tem of St. John the Beloved in Summerville.

Father Filip Wodecki was ap­pointed administrator of Our Lady of the Valley in Gloverville and St. Mary of the Immaculate Conception in Edgefield, with sacramental respon­sibilities at Edgefield Federal Correc­tional Institution.

Father Binil Jose Attappattu, CRM, was appointed parochial vicar at Immaculate Conception in Goose Creek.

Father Agustin Torm was ap­pointed parochial vicar at Our Lady, Star of the Sea in North Myrtle Beach and Church of the Resurrection Mis­sion in Loris.

Father José Orlando Cheverría Jiménez was appointed parochial vicar at St. Mary Church in Green­ville, with sacramental responsi­bilities at San Sebastian Mission in Greenville and to the Spanish-speaking community at Our Lady of Lourdes in Greenwood.

Father José Hugo Ruíz Maren­tes was appointed administrator of St. Mark in Newberry, Holy Spirit Mission in Laurens, and St. Boniface in Joanna.
