As the Jubilee Year of Mercy called for by Pope Francis draws to a close Nov. 20, the Solemnity of Christ the King, pilgrims will have a final opportunity to earn a plenary indulgence, and pass through one of the designated Holy Doors.
In the Diocese of Charleston, Bishop Robert E. Guglielmone will celebrate the closing Mass for the Holy Year on Nov. 20 at 11:15 at the Cathedral of St. John the Baptist in Charleston.
Other designated parishes will celebrate their closing Masses on Nov. 13 or Nov. 20.
