CHARLESTON—Bishop Robert E. Guglielmone has made new assignments for five priests in the Diocese of Charleston:
Father Dwight L. Longenecker was appointed pastor of Our Lady of the Rosary in Greenville, effective Nov. 26.
Effective Nov. 28, Father Philip Gillespie was appointed pastor of St. Joseph Church in Anderson, Father Javier Heredia was appointed administrator of St. Catherine of Siena Church in Lancaster and St. Michael Mission in Great Falls, and Father Sylvere Baloza was appointed parochial vicar at St. John Neumann in Columbia.
Father C. Thomas Miles was appointed pastor of Sacred Heart Church in Charleston, effective Dec. 1
