CHARLESTON — On Jan. 17, Bishop Robert E. Guglielmone announced new appointments for 12 priests in the Diocese of Charleston.
The following assignments are effective Feb. 27:
Father James Dubrouillet has been changed from administrator to pastor of Holy Cross Church in Pickens and St. Luke Mission in Easley.
Msgr. James LeBlanc moves from pastor of St. Andrew Church in Myrtle Beach to pastor of Transfiguration Church in Blythewood and St. Theresa in Winnsboro.
Father Ron Farrell moves from pastor of St. Mary and St. Cyprian churches in Georgetown to pastor of Holy Family Church on Hilton Head Island.
Father Andrew Trapp changes from pastor of Transfiguration Church in Blythewood and St. Theresa in Winnsboro to pastor of St. Peter Church in Beaufort, Holy Cross Mission on St. Helena Island, and chaplain to John Paul II School in Ridgeland.
Father Paul MacNeil changes from administrator of St. Peter in Beaufort and Holy Cross Mission on St. Helena Island to pastor of Precious Blood on Pawleys Island and chaplain of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton High School in Myrtle Beach.
Father Robert Spencer moves from administrator of St. John the Beloved Church in Summerville to pastor of Christ Our King in Mount Pleasant.
Father Matthew Gray, parochial vicar at St. Gregory the Great Church in Bluffton and chaplain of John Paul II School, will become pastoral administrator of St. Joseph in Columbia and chaplain pro tem of Cardinal Newman School. Msgr. Richard D. Harris, vicar general, remains pastor of St. Joseph Church.
Father James Renaurd West changes from parochial vicar at St. Mary Help of Christians Church in Aiken to administrator of Our Lady of Peace in North Augusta.
Father Richard Wilson moves from parochial vicar at St. Joseph in Columbia to administrator of St. Cyprian and St. Mary, Our Lady of Ransom in Georgetown.
Father Roger Morgan changes from parochial vicar of Our Lady Star of the Sea in North Myrtle Beach to administrator of St. Andrew in Myrtle Beach.
Father Norbert Mendonca moves from parochial vicar of St. Andrew in Myrtle Beach to administrator of St. Anthony in Ridgeland and St. Mary Mission in Hampton.
Carmelite Father Jacob Joseph moves from administrator of Our Lady of Peace Church in North Augusta to senior priest/parochial vicar of St. John the Beloved in Summerville.
