CHARLESTON—Bishop Robert E. Guglielmone has made several assignments for priests in the Diocese of Charleston.
Father William S. Hearne, administrator of St. Paul the Apostle Church in Seneca and St. Francis Mission in Walhalla, was appointed pastor, effective June 1.
Father H. Gregory West, in addition to his duties as pastor of St. Clare of Assisi Parish on Daniel Island, is appointed pastor of St. Mary of the Annunciation Church in Charleston. Father Patrick S. Allen, with the permission of the Personal Ordinariate of the Chair of St. Peter and in addition to responsibilities with Corpus Christi Catholic Community in Charleston, is appointed parochial vicar of St. Mary of the Annunciation. Both are effective July 1.
Father Michel Bineen Mukad, of the Immaculate Heart of Mary Order, new to the diocese, is appointed parochial vicar at St. Mary Help of Christians Church in Aiken, effective July 1.
