Bishop announces new appointments for priests

CHARLESTON—Bishop Rob­ert E. Guglielmone announced new appointments for priests in the Diocese of Charleston.

For the Priest Retirement Committee, Bishop Guglielmone has appointed Msgr. Edward D. Lofton as representing priests 60 years of age and older, and Father Roger J. Morgan as representing priests 50 years of age and younger.

Also, the bishop has assigned the following priests as parochial vicars:

Father Robson L. Weber at Immaculate Conception Church in Goose Creek, effective Dec. 8; Father Raynald Nacino at St. Mary Magdalene Church in Simpsonville, effective Jan. 19; and Father Christopher J. Dunn, OFM, at St. Mary of the Angels in Anderson, effective Feb. 12.
