Bishop makes nine priest assignments

CHARLESTON—Bishop Robert E. Guglielmone made several new assignments for priests in the Diocese of Charleston recently.

Father Giovannie B. Nunez, CRM, changed from administrator of St. Jude and St. Anne in Sumter to pastor, effective Aug. 20.

Father Noly N. Berjuega, CRM, changed from parochial vicar of St. Jude and St. Anne in Sumter to pastor of Immaculate Conception in Goose Creek as of Aug. 20.

Father Jeffrey F. Kirby changed from administrator of Our Lady of Grace in Indian Land to pastor, effective Sept. 1.

Father Michel Bineen Mukad, CICM, moved from parochial vicar at St. Mary Help of Christians Church in Aiken to administrator of St. Louis in Dillon and Church of the Infant Jesus in Marion as of Aug. 13.

Father David D. Nerbun, in addition to his duties as vicar for family life, was appointed as chaplain/campus minister at Coastal Carolina University in Conway, with residence at St. Michael the Archangel rectory in Murrells Inlet. Effective Aug. 1.

Father Rufino C. Madridejos, CRM, was appointed parochial vicar at St. Jude and St. Anne in Sumter, effective Aug. 20.

Father Christopher Beyuo was appointed parochial vicar at St. Peter in Beaufort and Holy Cross Mission on St. Helena Island as of Sept. 1.

Father Raymond K. Flores was appointed parochial vicar at St. Mary Help of Christians in Aiken, effective Sept. 1.

Father José Gabriel Cruz Rodriguez was incardinated into the Diocese of Charleston on July 1.
