Bishop sets town hall meetings to discuss abuse crisis

CHARLESTON—Bishop Robert E. Guglielmone announced to The Miscellany that he will hold town hall meetings to talk about and answer questions related to the current crisis in the Catholic Church and the results of the U.S. bishops meeting, which was held in Baltimore Nov. 12-14.

The meetings will be held in every deanery and each one will begin at 7 p.m.

They are as follows:

Nov. 19 at St. Gregory the Great Church in Bluffton

Dec. 10 at Blessed Sacrament Church in Charleston

Dec. 11 at the Basilica of St. Peter in Columbia

Jan. 10 at St. Michael Church in Murrells Inlet

Jan. 14 at St. Mary Help of Christians Church in Aiken

Jan. 28 at St. Anne Church in Rock Hill

Jan. 29 at St. Mary Church in Greenville
