LAKE WYLIE—Knights of Columbus Council 14475 engaged in a “Leave No Neighbor Behind” campaign in April and called every parishioner — almost 1,000 families — from All Saints Church to check on their health and welfare as the COVID-19 pandemic continues into May.
Richard Engel reported that the Knights spoke with more than 650 fellow parishioners and left messages for more than 300 families to find out what their needs are for food, medical supplies, and special prayers.
People were grateful for the personal calls, and many of them volunteered to help their fellow parishioners wherever needed, Engel said.
