SPARTANBURG—The first-grade class at St. Paul the Apostle School earned first place in South Carolina in the online Splashlearn math competition held recently.
Ray Rucker, the first-grade teacher, said his students correctly answered more questions than any other classroom in the state.
The St. Paul class also nabbed fifth in the nation out of 50 schools that participated.
